One footwear supply chain, one accountable team
Not just a factory — a full supply chain. From engineering and tooling to finished shoes, components, QC and export, DOING runs every link so you manage one relationship instead of a dozen.
What does DOING’s footwear supply chain cover?
DOING covers the full footwear supply chain in-house: product development and engineering, tooling and molds, materials sourcing, finished shoes (OEM/ODM/private label), semi-finished components (uppers and outsoles), quality control, packaging and export — own factory plus a selected partner network in Asia.
End to end
Engineering → components → finished shoes → QC → export
Product development & engineering
Turn a sketch, CAD or sample into a production-ready tech pack — last and outsole tooling, construction and bill of materials. 1,000+ new styles a year.
Finished footwear
Full OEM/ODM/private-label production across 15 categories — sneakers, running, outdoor, safety & work, military & tactical, sandals, boots, kids and more — at 200,000+ pairs/month.
Semi-finished components
Completed stitched uppers and outsoles supplied to factories and brands that assemble locally — a direct-from-Quanzhou component line few competitors offer.
Tooling & molds
Dedicated last and outsole/midsole mould development — drawings → 3D last → trial mould → final mould — kept exclusive to your brand.
Materials sourcing
Uppers, midsoles, outsoles, linings and components matched to your target price and performance, with REACH/RSL and GRS/OEKO-TEX options.
Quality control
Incoming material testing, in-line inspection and a final AQL inspection (Class A to AQL 0.065) before any container ships.
Packaging
Private-label boxes, hangtags, insocks and retail-ready packing — barcoding, polybag, inner and outer carton.
Export & logistics
Export documentation and worldwide shipping support, with 20+ years of experience across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Central Asia.
What makes it different
Finished shoes and semi-finished components
Most suppliers sell you only finished shoes. DOING also supplies semi-finished components — completed uppers and outsoles — so factories and brands that assemble locally get a reliable, direct-from-Quanzhou component source as well as full finished production.

What a footwear supply chain actually has to hold together
A shoe is not one purchase. A single style pulls in upper material, lining, foam, outsole rubber, laces, insoles, hardware, thread, cartons and labels — often from different suppliers, on different lead times, in different minimum quantities. The supply chain is the work of making all of that arrive at one line, in the right order, at the right time.
Most delays are not caused by the factory being slow. They are caused by one component being late, one material failing a test after the order is placed, or a sole mould being signed off two weeks after everything else. That is why we run development, component supply, production and export under one accountable team rather than handing your order between three companies.
Where footwear supply chains usually break
- The sole is signed off last. Tooling takes about 25–36 days end to end; every day the sole shape is undecided is a day added to the finished shoe. See custom sole and mould development
- Materials are approved without testing. A material that fails abrasion or adhesion after the order is placed forces a re-source mid-run — see which test maps to which standard
- MOQ mismatch between components. A 1,000-pair order can need a component whose own minimum is 5,000; that has to be caught at development, not at production
- No sealed sample. Without one there is nothing objective to inspect against — see how we run quality control and AQL inspection
- Documents prepared after the goods are ready. Export paperwork has its own lead time; see footwear export, documentation and shipping
Consolidating a multi-category range
Buyers carrying several categories often end up with a supplier per category — and a QC standard, a lead time and an invoice per supplier. We supply across 15 footwear categories from one base, so one order can carry sneakers, sandals and boots on the same shipment. See multi-category footwear supply, or multi-country sourcing if duty position means production has to sit outside China.

FAQ
Supply chain — buyer questions
Is DOING a one-stop footwear supply chain partner?
Yes — product development, finished shoes, semi-finished components, tooling, materials, quality control, packaging and export are handled in-house by one accountable team, so you manage one relationship instead of many.
Can I buy semi-finished components instead of finished shoes?
Yes. We supply completed stitched uppers and outsoles, plus midsoles and tooling, as a standalone program for factories and brands that assemble locally. Flexible component MOQ; low-MOQ development available.
Do you own the factory or coordinate a network?
Both: our own factory in Quanzhou plus a selected partner-factory network in China, and partner factories in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia and Myanmar — all under our development, tooling and QC.
