DOING is an OEM/ODM footwear manufacturer in Quanzhou, China (since 2002). Its own factory runs 4 production lines with 589 staff and 200,000+ pairs a month, develops 1,000+ new designs a year, builds custom lasts and sole tooling, and produces cemented, injected, vulcanized and strobel constructions, plus semi-finished uppers and outsoles.

Quality control & testing
Quality is checked at three points: incoming materials, in-line during cutting, stitching and lasting, and a final AQL-based inspection before shipment. Physical tests — such as flex, abrasion, peel strength and colourfastness — run in our own lab, and chemical compliance (REACH, CPSIA and brand RSLs) is covered through accredited third-party labs.

Capacity & sourcing
Our own factory covers most programmes. For larger volumes, or where cost, lead time or trade treatment favour another country, we place production with selected partner factories in China (Quanzhou / Jinjiang) and in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar — with the same development, QC and export team either way.

What can DOING manufacture?
Finished footwear across sneakers, running, outdoor and hiking, safety and work, boots, sandals, slippers and kids' shoes, plus semi-finished uppers and outsoles for brands that assemble locally. Complementary items — insoles, packaging, sports bags and accessories — are made in specialist factories in our network and shipped with the footwear.
How much can your own factory produce?
Our own factory runs 4 production lines with a team of 589, producing 200,000+ pairs a month. Larger or overflow programmes are placed with selected partner factories in China, (Quanzhou / Jinjiang) and, where it suits the product and market, in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar.
Can you develop a shoe from a sketch?
Yes. We work from a sketch, a reference shoe or a full tech pack. Development covers lasts, patterns, sole design and tooling, with first samples in 2–4 weeks. Sampling costs USD 300–500 per sample (excludes outsole tooling and special accessories).
What is your minimum order quantity?
1,200 pairs/style — split across 2–3 colours (600 × 2 or 400 × 3) — for sneakers, running and other shoes; sandals, flip-flops and slippers: 1,200 pairs/colour (even size run) and 3,600 pairs/style.
How do you control quality?
With in-line checks during production, our own testing lab for physical tests, and AQL-based final inspection before shipment. Our own factory holds amfori BSCI & HBI (Hanesbrands) audit reports, available to buyers during due diligence.
